Safe Tiles offers a modular system that allows full flexibility in both the wear layer and the EPP shock-absorbing base, making it easy to adapt the surface to different fall height requirements.

• Wear Layer Options
  Choose between high-performance materials such as EPDM, SBR, or biobased cork, each with unique properties for durability, appearance, and sustainability. These layers can be produced in different thicknesses and patterns to meet both safety and aesthetic goals.

• Customizable EPP Base
  The EPP shock-absorbing layer can be manufactured in various thicknesses — typically ranging from 25 mm to 60 mm — to tailor the impact attenuation to the specific fall height required (e.g. 1.0 m, 1.5 m, or 2.5 m HIC levels). This modular approach allows us to match the safety needs of each play structure without over-engineering or excessive cost.

• Certified Safety
  All combinations are tested according to EN 1177 standards and can be certified for the exact fall height needed. Our layered construction ensures that even the highest critical fall heights can be met without sacrificing design or sustainability.

• Modular Tile System
  All tiles are prefabricated in standard sizes (typically 500 × 500 mm), making them easy to transport, handle, and fit on-site. The tiles connect seamlessly, with or without adhesive, depending on the application. No specialized tools or heavy machinery are needed for most installations.

• Adaptable to Any Surface
  Whether you're working on concrete, compacted gravel, or other sub-bases, our system is adaptable and forgiving. The EPP base layers can be leveled and adjusted easily to ensure consistent performance across the entire surface.

• Quick Repairs
  In the rare case of damage or wear, individual tiles can be replaced without disturbing the surrounding area. This means less downtime, lower costs, and a longer overall lifespan of the playground or activity zone.

• Low Maintenance Materials
  Our EPDM and SBR surfaces are UV-resistant and easy to clean with water and mild detergent. The biobased cork surface is naturally antimicrobial and water-resistant, making it both hygienic and durable in outdoor conditions.
